Laser Cutter
« on: June 21, 2023, 11:03:54 AM »
I am not entirely sure if a laser cutter belongs here but in my head they go in roughly the same box as printers – being basically a weaponised plotter – so here it is.

We are having some issues with a Denford laser cutter stopping jobs on a regular but seemingly random basis. The Denford chappie is sure the cutter is fine and that the problem is the C2K machine running it.
What is everyone else using to drive their laser cutters; C2K machines or something more interesting?

The laser cutter in our tech department is just run from a standalone laptop. Hasn't been any issues with it that I'm aware off.
