downloaded a wee program to my iMac the other day called handyprint. it lets me share my printers across my apple network to iPads for Airprinting. see

handyprint pro, dont have to logged in just have the machine on, min $20 donation for a license key.
Basically the machine you install it on becomes a print server for airprinting. You cant give the menu for the printer so you would have the printer set to portrait and then copy and define to landscape and rename.
