Anyone use SIMS to keep track of pupil progress? If so how?

I know my school use it, but I have no idea how. I don't have a SIMS account and have no dealings with it apart from when our server falls over and I have to reboot it.

I know our school had one of the c2k programmers out at our school on a regular basis to tailor the process to our school, so I guess you need to talk with your c2k guys (soon to be Northgate hehe) and get them to help you.

Yes, I use it.  I set up the templates and marksheets within sims.  C2k set up the data tracking templates for us.  Then I use a template within sims (using assessment manager) to generate reports.  For written reports we use the 'profiles' system within sims to allow teachers to write their comments.  Although assessment manager can also be used to write comments and I know many schools just stick to assessment manger for both tracking results and comment, as it is simpler.
