Windows Deployment Services

we got a few new computers in and i have been trying to build them using WDS.
iv got one machine installed updated , image created etc.
 
when i boot my first machine from Lan and it  goes to DHCP.../ ( i can see it does get an ip address ) then starts to load WinPE then i get
 
"wdsclient an error occurred while optaining ip address from dhcp server "
 
iv been googling it and all i can find is, that if its a cisco switch (which it isn't) you have to enable spanning tree or something similar,   or WinPE has not got the right drivers for the network card.
 
any one got any ideas?
 
WDS does work with any other machines which makes me think its a driver issue but the fact that it is getting an ip is throwing me off to head scratching again
 
the machines have a ASUS p5g41t-m LX2 Motherboard with an onboard Realtek RTL8103EL Network card

I use WDS in here and it works great now.  I have had a few problems at the start but found fixes for them.
 
If all the computers are working with WDS ok then i don't think it is a spanning tree issue.  I would recommend you assign a static ip address to the computer from the server.  Something different from what it is obtaining from dhcp server.
 
I had a problem in here with an ip address and WDS i changed it and it worked then.

iv tried adding the drivers for the network card in to the Boot.wim file and its still not working.

once it loads the windowsPe the activity lights on the network card turn off, its making me think its still a possible driver issue?

any ideas?

sorry loud i forgot to say i tried giving it a different ip but it done exactly the same thing

got it working  i had to install vista drivers instead of xp drivers into the boot image 

2 days iv been at this :(
