SIMS Upgrade
« on: May 08, 2006, 11:31:34 AM »
Did anyone else have to go round their SIMS machines correcting the last installation?

There was a problem with NovaT on my system and I had to manually log into the machines where the update was applied (if it hadnt been applied I had to run the update) and copy a different version of the NovaT program into the sims.net folder.

Luckily I have only installed SIMS into 29 machines.
One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.

Have not been told of any upgrade yet.
While there is still a need for teachers, there will still be a need for us!

Stephen, you should know that any laptops in the school that staff use to access SIMS (and use Novat) should have the Novat update done also.  I'm an unhappy bunny cos I've just finished 30 or more stations and now have 40 laptops to do as I've always encouraged staff to use novat for class lists, photos, timetables etc.  What a daft cow am I???????????

Had to do that here too Stephen, although it was our TSO that done it.
