Mac Server
« on: June 06, 2008, 11:51:44 AM »
We were thinking about setting up a Mac Server for our media studies, they are running 8 macs and we were thinking about getting a server in for these. Has anyone ever set a mac server up before if so they couldnt point me in the right direction please.

I know windows and windows server no problem but still learning Macs so any help would be appreciated. If you could tell me how you went about what sort of equipment you bought that would be great help.

Just ordered a mac server and raid, you pay for mac people to come out and set the server up on the order I done it reads as,

Installation & Configuration of Sever & Clients - Onsite per day   2   ? 750.00   ?1,500.00

With ?750 being the per day cost, flippin' whopper!!
