I've just bought a new house which has just doubled my mortgage :( so I could see me still here in 10 years. My wife likes the job security that this place offers - OK it's not 100% but I reckon it's alot more secure than industry. Was doing a part-time course in teaching/lecturing at the UBI in Portadown, finished the first year but have progressed any further (no time). May pursue that avenue in the near future.

I don't think you're stupid, I think what you do is stupid.

I'm really not too sure where I'd like to be, well, thats a lie, I'd love to be living someplace like Florida with a beach house and a nice cushy IT job in web design or something like that, but thats not really goin to be feasible for me.

Failing that, I'm contemplating either going on and doing a masters in something when I finish my degree or maybe even looking into teaching, not really that sure yet, but the government charges that much for anything University related that its just gonna be so difficult just trying to decide what to do.
The LAN's Watch
Data gathers, and now my watch begins.
It shall not end until my downsizing (or I get a better offer.)
I shall take no lunchbreaks, join no user groups, skip no patches.
I shall wear no neckties and win no bonuses.
I shall live and die at my console.
I am the patcher in the darkness. I am the admin of the firewalls. I am the shield that guards the realm of my systems.
I pledge my days and weekends to the LAN?s Watch, for this day and all the days to come.
