Changing Passwords
« on: March 05, 2008, 10:49:28 AM »
I am currently looking for a way to allow teaching staff to change passwords on our legacy system. At the minute it is a vanilla Windows 2003 server and I am not overly chuffed with letting teachers login to the server to change passwords.

http://www.wisesoft.co.uk/Products/PasswordControl/Main/default.aspx

Might be the answer, other than this creating a custom mmc for teaching staff seems the only other sensible way of doing it.

Hehe yep. I really should think longer before posting questions :)

I had a look through some posts on edugeek and found the answer, should have thought of wisesoft though as I use Dave Wisemans excellent spreadsheet for user management.
