Has anyone started the data cleansing? Any issues when removing files and folders from the shared and staff areas?
Not much information about this.

Our Staff Area was completely full this morning, 0 bytes left lol.
I just sent an email out to all staff and told them to get rid of all no essential files, or I would :)
Seems to have did the trick as we're up to 52Gb free. I'm also backing up any old sh1te I can see and removing it as well.

there are lots of files and folders i cannot rmove. Staff who have left the school and password proteced folders are a problem. I have asked capita about how to remove these folder and files but no response as yet.

This has been a total nightmare for me.  I've asked a dozen time Ma during the year and got the Principal to mention it at staff briefing.  2 weeks ago our Staff drive was full and staff users complained they couldn't save stuff!

It's got to the point I've had to go through all the staff shared directories and upload large files to my OneDrive and not one person has reported to me that they've lost any of it.

This has freed up about 60GB of storage from a 2TB drive.  I still can't figure out who is using such large amounts of storage especially when all users have access to 1TB on Google drive and 1TB on OneDrive.  I just wish C2k would put a limit of the staff 'My Documents' and force users to start using the cloud drives that are accessible to us all now.

@New2C2k contact the helpdesk and they will generate a report on usage. The Art department here is the biggest culprit. They had one folder at 32Gb and had copied it to two other locations on the staff drive.

my son is a teacher in Liverpool and when they came back after the summer holidays they were told that the only drives avaiable when clouid drives. Their user areas dont exist and told to get on with it.
