Getting back into the swing
Have a few WiFi issues in rooms that never needed it before but do now and rooms that didn't have projectors that do now also. It's all a bit crazy so far

And were not even using the computer suites for now

had to reconfigure 24 classrooms after I was told that the teachers desk and computer had to be moved. ended up buying extension reels, hdmi cables, sound cables and usb extension cables. still working at it at the minute

absolutely mad

Pretty much the same as zyber.  Teachers had to be kept 2m away from pupils given any walking about the desk scenario, so longer network, audio, vga cables, and kick strips for all the rejigging of positions.
No iPads, Chromebooks, or Laptops being booked out.  Pallet loads of wipes and sanitiser.

All good   :-X

Pretty much the same here. Each year group contained within their own bubble. Senior school only 1s with access to ICT facilities.
Teachers having to clean keyboards etc at the end of each lesson.
No fixed workstations for teachers, had to redeploy laptops so that teachers carry them about with them each day.
I'm not anti-social; I'm just not user friendly.

Been lucky enough here not having to move teacher setups then

Only iPads being used atm but I think they're more hastle than the pcs to clean

Having to sort a few laptops too for bubble area for teacher groups for being able to do stuff when they are free but half haven't returned lockdown laptops 😑

What a complete waste of time. You make new computer rooms using old macs or machines nicked from other departments to satisfy spacing and bubble needs then you walk down a corridor at break time and no pupils wearing a mask (eating crisps) and walking in the usual corridor clot. What is he point.

Why have a bubble when they come and go on the same bus that they dont have to wear a mask on - even if they did it is not effective.
One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.

Same in here.  Complete waste of time.  Not be long until we get another positive case.

Most teaching staff don't want to be here.  Finding ways to make others work/duties more difficult to cope with than they currently are.
Thankfully i'm here long enough to push back a bit.
