How many of us go out Fri nights, Sat nights or not at all:- How to flip do you do a poll on this forum????
One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.

I like a night out as much as the next guy, but when you find that you're old enough to be the dad of nearly everyone in the dizzy water watering hole, it sort of puts you off.  I'll usually just stick to a night in with the missus while she reads a book or knits, the kids at my feet playing with the train set, or whatever new fangled gadget they have and I'll relax with a single malt dizzy water and Fallout 4.  Oh yes, don't forget my aul fart slippers.  8)

I hate going out local because I work in the town I live in and the wee shits that are here also go to the pubs and clubs :(

Agree with Casper "the little darlings" infest the area so only a few watering holes I would frequent  :'(
A night in at my age is just as much fun and a lot less annoyance  :o

But still go out for a few games of pool occasionally  ;D
