im getting a blue screen on a legacy machine which we had put on to c2k.



normally the action is a simple rebuild but im not getting the menu ( local, managed, maintanence)



its just booting straight in to windows then restarting



any ideas before i log a call and get charged stupid money??

Can you not press 3 to go to the Maintainance screen? Then restore the backup image (if it's available).

You do need to go into maintenance mode as Casper said, hopefully C2k (northgate) gave you the maintenance mode password.

It is not even flashing up the 123 menu?

What type of station is it?

Report it as a possible software error to the Northgate helpdesk (I posted their phone number somewhere on this site when I was talking about laptops). If it is a software problem northgate have to fix it for free, if it isnt you have to pay so you would need clearance from your HoD and/or headmaster before hand in case you have to stomp up the cash.
