windows logon themes

today i have noticed a lot of machines on my legacy network have been sporting the old grey windows theme instead of the blue xp theme on the log on box. this is happening across all my suites so im assuming its something at the server end of things
 
any ideas?
 
the network is windows server 2003 with xp clients

i have had this on the C2k workstations as well and have had to get a couple rebuilt to solve the problem.

Probably corruption of windows start up screen theme (one of the XP themes possibly) I cant remember how to fix it. Sorry.
