Partially connected legacy machines
« on: February 08, 2006, 12:29:23 PM »
Has anyone had any dealings with C2k regarding partially connected legacy machines. I have a number of these machines that have gone belly up. When I try to restore the backup image it doesn't finish, instead it asks for a username and password (of the person that initial built the machine). I know C2k chrages £250 for legacy equipment but is that per machine or per callout?

I don't think you're stupid, I think what you do is stupid.

Try phoning the Northgate service desk and asking them if this is a software error do you have to pay. If they so you do then ask how much is it for the amount of machines you have belly up. I dont know if software is still covered in partial machines but you might as well at least ask. If not you might as well at least price and then pass the info on to someone else so if people complain that machines arent working you can say there is nothing you can do the matter is resting further up the pay scales.

I did mean Northgate rather than C2k help desk, I posted their number on a thread to do with the E500's.
