Is there any way of doing OCR network side?

nope you need macromedia player installed... had to do a whole suite not long ago aswell as installing office on them

O.C.R. as in Optical character recognition - how would macromedia player help?

I havent a clue on this one I was hoping someone else would know.



The only suggestion I can make is install the scanner and OCR software into a machine on the local side and then use easylink to transfer the files that you OCR to the managed side.

lol sorry i got mixed up.... i fought u ment ocr as in word processing- night classes which is why i had to install office + the flash plugin for the website to work
