I didnt start her anywhere, it would have been the people in charge of the timetabling that caused this. I suspect that my HoD who is slowly taking over the overall management of SIMS will give them a few pointer in the future.
I dont think the interviews for the job had finished by September so I dont really know if the timetablers had much of a choice really - from helping to set up the reports this year you can see how much of a minefield SIMS can be, do you really need to define different aspects for each year, why can one set of aspects not be used for all years? I would like to meet the programers responsible for the whole thing and ask them for their flowcharts and DFD's must be like spagetti.
