Interactive panels
« on: December 16, 2020, 04:25:50 PM »
Are the interactive panels installed available to install in schools actually connected to the c2k network or do they just work through a computer or laptop connection?  Most seem to have an android o/s and wondering if these apps connect via the panel

Our IMEX Vivitek panels (brilliant by the way!) connect to C2K Wireless with no issues whatsoever.  You can also get the Google Play store on them - which would have been handy in a pre-covid environment where our staff usually stayed in the same room!

I then have them also HDMI connected to the desktops with USB to allow for full touch interaction - they can then use their finger, or any pen / stylus whatsoever to work them.

No however you can set them to come on / off at scheduled times - and in one of our cases where it's linked to NovoDS cloud player it plays our digital signage playlist by default.

They work flawlessly on our new upgraded C2K wireless network - haven't had 1 issue with them since start of term!
