i used the IP of am01. That seems to work for me.

I was getting error 0. i also had trouble installing the secure connect software, i left he laptop on over night and was greeted with 1hr's worth of windows updates.

Everything works a charm now. (touch wood)

You can find out the IP by running the secure application manager and clicking on the advanced tab, then click event log.

After a few minutes you will see a NETBIOS name lookup for am01 with its ip

FIXED!! Stephen. Thanks so much turning off ipv6 WORKED! Wish i knew this months ago. Can work from home now thanks. Thanks for the offers everyone very much appreciated.

 Issue Resolved : connection fIled for user reason: 0

Solution: Network & Network settings right click adapter & select properties & turn off ipv6 try to connect to sims again.

Also can confirm IPV6 solved issue

had to use that fix as well.  One of the three laptops didnt work with the normal settings.

Have you checked that there is a desktop shortcut created to pulsar.exe.

I had a teacher with reason 0 yesterday and that was the issue. I also had to use the IP address of AM01 in the connect.ini file

This one is not getting any further after they click start beside the Windows Secure Application Manager - it just keeps trying to connect.

I've asked them to try using their mobile as a hotspot to rule out a BT issue

Is it normal that turning off ipv6 in adapter settings and every site then works except for myschool identidy manager etc

Won't work on laptop yet install says installed
