Setting up Exchange on Mac Office 2011

Hi, i know there has been a post regarding this, but it is dated 2 years ago.  Is there anyone who can let me know how to set up my exchange account using my Mac, and if not could they explain why we cannot do it?  Frying my head a bit - I phoned the helpline and was told to use the online version - Not what I wanted.

Anyone out there that can help a poor soul?

i dont get why they wont let us use the exchange account on other computers running outook/mail etc

Thanks Gerard, I have Entourage, but it is telling me that the student version I have does not let me add an Exchange account.

I may just give up.
