permissions issue
« on: November 23, 2007, 12:40:03 PM »
Just wondering has anyone had any problems with permissions on there legacy network, because every now and again the permissions on the desktop folder keep coming up account unknown ????????? it only seems to affect pupils which is the strange thing

Its a real pain in the ass, and it had to happen today with mocks on in thoughs rooms.

The teachers didnt help matters either they forgot to copy the exam files over the other day, so it was left to me and my trusty pen drive to go round each machine with the files.

One weird thing that i found was that even though i was logged in as admin i was getting an access denied error message when i tried to create a folder in the pupils desktop folder even though the admin permissions were applied.
