Monitor just went ?BANG
« on: February 27, 2006, 11:39:40 AM »
the monitor on my own c2k machine just went out with a BANG turned it on after breaktime and it looked like the resoultion was set to 800 x 600 where it is set to 1024x768 , but it wouldnt let me resize it to fit my start bar and icons on the screen. so being the expert im not, i turned it of and back on by the power button and near got floored with a spark ( one of them big bright blue jobby's ) scared the **** out of me. and that was the end of that story.

any one know the routine to get it replaced?

think i just need to phone the desk n give the serial number?

how long is the warrenty cos it may be over a year now ?

grateful for any suggestions

Unless it's a legacy just logg a call. Had 2 go down last year, The next day they were replaced. If it's a legacy maching then it would prob be cheeper to just go out and buy one.
