App Inventor 2

Has anyone had any luck running App inventor 2 on the C2k system on Windows?

Does anyone know whether App Inventor 2 is set up for use locally (i.e. runs locally on the machine not over the internet) on the programming environment?

We use appinventor but I think there is a prob with students using it as they cant run the apps!! It has to do with the softwares temp folders, I think. I will see if I can get better details on this.
