Much has been said about the wellbeing of school staff. Invariably, however, any discussion or research tends to speak about teachers.
Yet we know the role of an IT professional in schools can be a lonely one. You’re not in the educator ‘inner circle’. People come to you, stressed, with issues you need to resolve, but they don’t generally ‘get’ what you do, or the pressures of the role.
We are SalamanderSoft. In case you don’t already know us, we’re techies with a background in edtech. And we want to shine a light on the wellbeing of IT staff in education – and the invaluable work that you do.
We’re asking for your help. Please take a few minutes to complete a short survey about your own experiences. Your input is completely anonymous.
Afterwards we’ll produce a report, which we’ll send you so you can compare against your counterparts from across the country. We hope you’ll participate, and thank-you in advance for your time.
