Anyone installed their own RM tutor type software for monitoring IT suites?

I use Veyon on our legacy ICT suites.

funny i have just logged a call about this today.
Request in from IT teachers. With 2M distance in classroom they want to fix/deal with students issues from the teacher desk. Not allowed to walk around the room.
I have asked them to look into it further. maybe if more calls are added to the helpdesk they might push out the likes of Senso (Catalogue Item) free to schools due to H&S.
Also have asked for written confirmation if they say no. in case something is said in school if a teacher gets it. Time to pass the buck.
Heard about Veyon. But i wouldn't install anything that could breach the system. Remote desktop support should be on the system as a teacher tool.

bring back the old days of rm tutor lol - before the newer version came out and never wanted to work

I just finished installing software call Veyon. Setup is a pain the bum because the clientside needs installed on all the workstations, then the Veyon Master on the teacher workstation.
Has all the bells and whistles of RM Tutor. Early days of usage but perhaps has a potential drawback. I "think" prolonged use results in an account lockout.
Because the Master station is sending out commands and receiving back constant refreshes from all the stations in the room, I think it locks the account. I was getting locked out during setups and testing, and it's the only reason I can come up with... either that or some clampet was trying my password ;D

i'm not installing anything, in case there is a breach of some sort.
Think I just wait on C2K to deal with this one.

We purchased Senso last year and had it running before lockdown.

I think Senso should be rolled out to all schools this year for free. Just to help during these times. A one year subscription can't cost that much.
