Hi guys,
I was just wondering how many of you had signed up for the 'Capita College'? Isn't there an event for us to attend in August? It would be cool to put some faces to the names I see every day on here.
-
I'm on the reserve list so won't make it unless someone drops out.
-
Got signed up for it. Have a feeling its just going to be a Capita sanctioned version of here though, a place for techies to share and help each other.
-
Got signed up as well. Sent the AUP back last week.
-
Im also on the waiting list
-
I got in, sent AUP back and 2 mins later another email about 2nd AUP as first had a error :o
-
Did not get signed up in time will look forward to hearing how worthwhile it was from all attendees ;D
-
I hope it is something that will actually be useful and not just some glorified sales pitch.
-
I will go if Capita pay me to attend, its really no benefit to me, Im not really into doing voluntary work.
-

Dear Principal
As part of Capita?s continued commitment to customer care Capita are pleased to announce that they are offering a Certified Technical Training Course for ICT Technicians. This course offers a blended approach to learning, with a mixture of face-to-face training delivery, online reading and web tutorials and is certified through Capita?s Learning and Development department. This programme is free of charge.
Capita are dedicated to supporting ICT in your school and we believe this certified offering will not only support your ICT Technician in their daily C2k activities, but will offer them opportunities for Continuous Professional Development enabling them to enhance their performance as your ICT Technician.
The programme will be two pronged;
1. Delegates will be directed to various Knowledge Articles and Learning Exchange Training nuggets; short tests will be used to help towards their certification.
2. Delegates will receive targeted training tailored around the C2k Solution, providing best practice advice and guidance on how schools can utilise the managed service to best meet their needs.
The programme will consist of one day in a classroom setting during August 2016. The rest of the programme will involve a short Video Conferencing session through Collaborate and half hour sessions completing Knowledge Activities and Tests within Fronter. The full programme will be run between April and August 2016.
Letters have been sent to your school inviting your ICT Technician to register their interest in this certified programme. They will need your permission to participate, before they can be officially enrolled. To register your ICT Technician for enrolment on this programme, please email cmits-feedback@capita.co.uk confirming the name and email address of the attendee by 23rd March 2016.
Places within the programme are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, therefore to avoid disappointment please register your ICT Technician as soon as possible. If you would like to send more than one ICT Technician please call the Capita Customer Service Team (Tel:+44(0)8000 284411) and Capita will endeavour to accommodate all attendees.
If you have any questions or would like further information about the training please feel free to contact the Capita Customer Service Team directly by telephone or email:.

I've heard nothing back since returning the AUP - saying that there has always been a lengthy time delay between each stage so far!

Phone them and check the numbers in my last post.
