I see there is a security alert in Lurgan - that railway line gets picked on all the time - is it affecting the schools??

It affected me alright! late for work because of a feckin wheelie bin....

The law knew of it yesterday evening, I saw the bomb squad doing a tour of Portadown centre when I was waiting for my bus, it does take a while for to check these out.
If they could find some way to deal with these faster and yet safely it would lower the disruption and probably stop it happening.

I was talking to a veteran rail user last time this happened and he told me that if it's dark when they find a suspect device, the Bomb Disposal won't touch it til it gets light.  They must be afraid of the dark.  Checking on Twitter and still no sign of service being restored.
