Title: Heinemann MFL Software

Been struggling to get this playing correctly since the upgrade to Windows 7. I've tried several types of computers including the ones just brought in last week but the sound still comes out distorted. Has anyone else been having this problem or have any joy in getting it playing correctly?

Yes I found that issue too.  I also found out that it works a bit better (less distortion at least) if you ensure no other windows / programs are open at the same time - particularly I Explorer & SIMS.

I then found it starts distorting again if the mouse is moved during playback so try to limit that too lol!!

Apparently it's helped if you open the directory and play sound files directly via VLC / windows media player also.

Must be something to do with resource availability!

Thanks for the reply, I have been trying it again this morning on a new computer and the problem is still there. As you say, it works fine when playing directly through windows media player but not through the software itself. There seems to be quite a few sound files so don't fancy trying to figure out which part of the software they relate to either!

Try updating your audio drivers
