Title: iTunes
Post by: colerainehigh on November 14, 2012, 10:12:28 AM
Hi, the physics department has purchased an iPad and is having trouble connecting to iTunes, I think he said it was the proxy settings.  Has anyone else come across this?

what I found when I used proxy 4 was sometimes the images wouldn't pull through but run into other small issues in the end when running through the legacy internet it worked fine

Have to agree with Aaron on this. Proxy4 is the best when using an ipad but it doesnt pull everything in as your groups are not added. However if you try authentication with a different proxy it can take it a while to go right and can be very iffy and problematic.

Apple own the entire 17. ip range so you could ask for that to be unblocked.
