Title: Airport Extreme DHCP settings
Post by: Si on September 11, 2012, 01:41:41 PM
One of our teachers has brought in an Airport Extreme to link his shiny new Apple products together - thing is its messing round with my DHCP server on my legacy network.

Anyone know how to switch DHCP off on one of these things?

Airport Utility > Manual Setup
Click the Internet icon
Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode)
Update

Well thats what i get from a 2010 post on apple forums

got this from apple as well

"All I had to do to accomplish this was to uncheck 'Distribute IP addresses' on the Network page in the Airport Admin utility. This causes the Express to act as a bridge between the wired and wireless networks."

will try that.  Had no joy searching for the answer yesterday - my browser wouldn't render pages from the Apple discussion forums...

Cheers
