Title: Mac Office 2011

Has anyone managed to get Mac Office 2011 working with their C2K Email?   :-\
I read somewhere that it needs Exchange server 2007 (or newer) for it to work.....what version are C2K running? Is it 2003?
Currently i use Mac Office Entourage 2008- this works no problem.

As far as i remember exchange is only setup for c2k machines and mobile devices.

Hi thank you for your reply- I have email running through Entourage (part of Mac Office 2008) but am wanting to upgrade to Office 2011.

What settings are you using for your mail account in Entourage.

Is the Mac plugged into the C2k network?

The MAC is not plugged into the C2K network- it is running on on a BT Fibre connection in our school.
I am able to send and receive C2K email using Entourage. All mail boxes are also synced.
I would just like to be able to upgrade to Outlook 2011. However, i think it needs Exchange server 2007 or later. I am assuming that C2K is running 2003?

Settings for entourage are as follows:

Personal information: Enter 'your name' and 'C2K email address'
Authentication- Account ID: Enter 'C2K username'
Authentication- Domain: Enter 'School'
Authentication- Password: Enter 'C2K password'
Click on save password in my Mac OS Keychain
Server Information- Exchange Server: Enter 'https://mail1.learningni.net'
Click 'This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)'
Override default DAV port: 443

Thats more or less the same as what i have tried in the past to get c2k to work with outlook 2003 or Mail for Mac. But it never did.

dfinney- your mail program has to be compatible with an Exchange server.
If you can get a copy of Entourage 2008 it will work no problem.

Hi, my C2Kni email on Entourage stopped working last tuesday and I was wondering has C2k updated their Exchange server to 2008 or higher? If anyone knows?

Hi, my Headmasters C2Kni email on Entourage also stopped working last week, ive asked logged it with c2k helpdesk, waiting for responce. Will Outlook 2011 for mac work?
