Title: Sims/private folders do not exist

anyone else had this problem? we started getting this here on friday when the updates installed. the O: drive is no longer an option in my computer for all users on all machines in the school.

Sims wont open for anyone either.

Check and see if the SIMS server is on.

Yeah the srver is on.

I can access everything if i go to start run then \\deninumber-am02\

its the o: mapped drive that isnt working.

Phone the Helpdesk in that case.

Logged it with the helpdesk on friday morning.

Nothgate told me that it was a c2k permissions problem, c2k came out today and looked at it and they said its a northgate problem. ::)

I was talking to a northgate engineer who was out to look at another problem and he said its sounds like well have to have every machine on the network rebuilt.

got this problem sorted at the end of last week. The time difference between the server and SIMS server was over 5minutes and this caused the SIMS server to block all access to it.
