the kids have all found out about the www.netcraft.com site and continually use it to get on messenger by getin the ip addres of a specific url



i have tried logging a call to get it banned but c2k help desk said " this is a very widly used site .. bla bla bla"



any one else had this problem or does anyone use the site them selfs?



i'v lost count of the amount of times that teachers have aproached me to get it sorted'

That's crazy. I'd never come across that before. They could access any page on the net if they figured it out.

Just put the address of a page in to the form on the left and submit,

get the IP address from the report and enter it in the address bar.



It is true that links on the site won't work normally but all you have

to do is get the link address and replace the domain with the ip address and it does work.

yeah- it blocks linnks ok but  they usually use it to use a webased messenger... so far most of them have been block but there are so many different ones like meebo, iloveim , msn webmessenger etc.. they are always finding new ones
