What did everyone make of the screensaver changes made overnight?

I had complaints by the end of the day so I deallocated it.

I think there were quite a few complaints by the end of Friday afternoon.  I logged a call around 1500 and they had actually stopped forwarding the calls to Northgate.  They simply took a note of the various issues we were having and said that a meeting was already taking place to try and resolve this problem.  Just over half the machines here seemed to have picked up the screensaver although these machines are cutting out at 5 minutes, not much use when you're standing working in front of a whiteboard.

we logged a call as well.  Screensaver came on after 2 or 3 mins when not touched.

Just checked a workstation.  Authorised user can now increase the wait time on the screensaver from 5 minutes.  Not sure about another type of user at the minute.  But will check on Delegate Teacher and student.

It's not the screensaver I find a problem, it's the fact that you have to login again.



All our machines picked up the screensaver but only half picked up the new logon bitmaps.

Has anyone found that the Northgate screensaver is now not working at all?

I've noticed that the Northgate screen saver only kicks in if the station is showing 'There is currently on-one logged on'

i have recieved a few complaints about whiteboards and the computer ettin locked after a few minutes.

Does everybody have the new Login and screensaver deployed and working ?



I've only seen the Logon on 1 machine here and the screensaver on - well first there was 1, then there were 3 or 4, now none at all ???!!!



Any ideas?

By the way has anyone restored a station yet? It seems to revert back to the old one here.

they were all working fine here but i have restored 2 machines since then and they have went back to the old one..... really have some bugs that need ironed out
