How long before C2k/Northgate block this site ? :lol:



How long before teachers cop on and begin to learn our little secrets ? 8)



Is there anyone registered who is REALLY over 13 ?   :D

Well if they block it they'll have to block every other self-help group on the web. This isn't a substitute for their helpdesk but I'm sure there are some questions that their desk can't answer that might be answered here.



Don't know about teachers learning our little secrets. I've shown teachers the same thing over and over again and it never seems to sink in.



Apparently I have the mental age of a 13 year old - so my wife keeps telling me. Must be working here to long :)

Thanks. I know it looks bare at the moment but I'm trying to email all the schools that I can but to be honest the uptake is a bit slow. The aim is to eventually have a site that will include tutorials, downloads and other useful hints and tips. But if I can get the forum up and running I'll be happy :)

Looks fine Casper.  It'll take a bit of time for word to get round. A technician's forum has been much needed I think and amazing that it's never been done before.  I'll pass the word to the few that I know and to a tech at the Board centre.  He'll have more contacts with techies than me.  Cheers.

Hope you all don't mind a placement IT student being here, being on placement at Ballycastle High, and yes, I'm over 13, I thinks.  :lol:



And I agree with casper, some teachers can be a bit on the slow side, but sure thats what us techies are here for, lets just hope they don't find out about this, you never know, we might end up out of jobs!  :?



Anyway, forum looks good, I got word from the techie at Coleraine College.

Hi just got an email this morning and decided to check it out.  The website looks great and I have already taken advantage of the Location Chooser for the RM Tutor 2 Teacher.  I am currently the ICT Support Officer at Larne Grammar School and look forward to helping and getting help from others.
