Inteeractive panels

Anyone using the expensive interactive panels in school?   Does the panel connect to the c2k network via a network cable or wifi?

We have Promethean ones are they are connected by WIFI.

No they are connected via a HDMI cable to the laptop.  However logs on uses their on log on name and password

I though you said connected by WiFi. Are you able to access the educational apps that are supplied with the board? I assumed the board could work without a connection to a computer and be a stand alone device connected via wi-if? School is trying to choose interactive panels or Smart tv’s via an iPad or Samsung tablet.

I have several Vivatek Panels purchased via IMEX - superb quality.

They are connected to the C2K Shared Device wifi, with no issues whatsoever.  Then physically connected via HDMI to the C2K desktop in each room.

IMEX I believe are one of the few sellers who actually have the Google Play Store / Vivitek's own app store completely accessible via C2K Wireless.  Our staff usually use them as a 2nd screen, but occasionally they use Note taking app, camera apps, YouTube etc independently on them. 

I only wish people we in using them at present!
