There was a certificate update required on iPads to connect to C2K wireless, so it's quite possible it's affecting some older Apple Tvs too.

I had to ask staff to restart their iPads, and click on the C2K wireless + trust when prompted to reconnect. 


No reports of any Apple TV issues yet, but I wonder if that's because staff have maybe restarted them & they work afterwards.  I'm about to set up loads of new Apple TVs  :-X :-X :-X :-X so I'll check when they are ready!

Our Apple TVs have stopped talking to the c2kwireless, anyone else notice this?


A number of our teachers use ipads on c2kwireless and to connect to projectors we use the apple tv's. As they were using the ipads when the school was 'shut' (we were still here!) they still use them with the apps they used for remote teaching.

We recently had a member of staff accidently email a teacher in another school as this teacher had the same first initial and surname of a teacher in our school. Somehow the person got onto whatever contacts list the ipad outlook app is using.


For school use the contact list you would want to use for work related stuff would be DENI_GAL   e.g. 32154_GAL (contact Directory name). Does anyone know how to change the contact directory on an ipad outlook app???

Tell them it is not installing you dont want the app added to the system you just want it allowed over the internet with the relevant ports open. I do believe other schools are using it - if you could find out which schools are using it then you can use that as an arguement that they jut need to give it permission over the net.

Hi Thanks for the reply, Looks like Ipad`s are the answer. A Teacher tried it yesterday with only him in school and it still did not work. It seems to be hit or miss which does not install confidence.

We only use the managed machines for setting up the meetings.


You are told in the instructions to use chrome browser.


However because the cabled connection and C2KManagedN is slightly different from the C2K wireless you may have to log a call to get all the url's unblocked.


With the iPads you must be on IOS14.3 and above.  There are issues with the lower IOS versions as well.  It's all well documented by school cloud.  As you said you have to get the IT people involved from the start.

Hi, we are using desktops but Schoolcloud has now stopped working on them. We have tried c2k laptops on the wireless with some success but itís all very hit and miss. Our Teachers are awaiting new iPads arriving and maybe this is the solution. C2k are saying the Schoolcloud is unsupported and can pay the £690 for testing it. Thanks for the reply

We use it and we have no issues in school with it.


We have done 3 parent teacher events.  First one was busy as it was new to staff and parents but the last 2 not much to be done.


Our setup is iPads on C2k Wireless.  What setup are you using.

Still having issues with teachers connecting to parents. C2k now saying that is an unsupported third party system and that we have to submit a testing form for them to look into it. There is a charge of over £600 for them to do this. I thought lots of schools are using this or is it not being used on the c2k network but on another network e.g BT ?
