Templepatrick Primary website
« on: January 29, 2012, 09:22:53 PM »
Hi,

Just found this site and registered this evening.

Going to bore you all with our school website which just launched at the start of this year :

www.templepatrickprimary.com

and my wee wiki for my P7 class

www.p7tps.wikispaces.com

That should bore you enough for now.

If not, you could search for Templepatrick Primary on YouTube, or just http://youtu.be/JWJbyqXbtXA and that'll certainly do it!

Enjoying have a wee poke about the forum, and already sure it'll come in handy!

Thanks,

David (Dr Wa)

The company that designed it - PrimarySite is quite popular in England....  haven't seen any sites in N.Ireland designed by them yet.

I like the site as it's nice and tidy, but I can't help but dislike the inclination of a lot of schools to use a template.  For the sites I design I pride myself on fully customising each one, and building the site from scratch as opposed to applying pre-made templates.

it is very tidy looking.. our site is very similar to most schools hosted by wholeschool but i have nothing to do with it. if it was giving to me i would be the same as belfast_Techs and make it my baby ( be it i would have to learn how to build a site first but i wouldnt be long learning )

Should probably have mentioned I didn't make the school site, but it's pretty obvious to all on here I would imagine. The folks at Primary Site, however, were very patient and really easy to deal with and it's a doddle to update, which when I have to convince staff to use it, is handy!

Now where do I post about my monitor going into power save at seemingly random intervals? I'm going to get shouted at for that, ampt I, what with it being a little  :offtopic:!
