Anyone in the North Down / Belfast area have a spare 2300 or 4600 they don't need and want to get rid of. Have a few sets of toner for both and looking to see if anyone has a local one before try and source on ebay etc.

Cheers

Legacy Networks / Re: Internet filtering provide...

Cheers - I prefer having a good safe solution which we can pull reports etc from easily.  Censornet has been fantastic over the years but their new pricing model is totally unrealistic.. although they are flexible enough at present I suspect this won't last for much longer.

We actually use Lightspeed MDM so it would be ideal to add on filtering... will have to look into this further - thanks!

Have you looked at using the C2K legacy port? It uses the C2K filtering for free. It's a proven solution if you have no budget.

OpenDNS may be another free option but may require more of your time, especially to fine tune at the start and you might find it a bit limited.

If you want proper safe internet filtering you can stand over it is not cheap.

LightSpeed have a cloud based filtering system if you are looking for something to compare a price with.

Good luck

Legacy Networks / Internet filtering provider

Hi all,

For those (unfortunate enough?) to have their own legacy networks... what do you use for content / internet filtering?

We currently use Censornet but it appears their licencing method is now proving to be very expensive to us, and will almost certainly lead us to look elsewhere in future.

Would be keen to see what other products are being used!

Website Suggestions/News / Japanese Aircraft Runway Colli...
Last post by Stephen - Jan 03, 2024, 12:02 PM
Here is about the best video I can find of it.

https://youtu.be/6NbVdIoJsHY

It does seem that the other aircraft taxi'd onto the runway but it is hard to see and I am sure that the proper report will cover everything when it comes out.

is it on all the workstations.
Maybe just try and reinstall sims from S:\SIMS\Setups\SIMSApplicationSetup

See if that works on the one machine.

Anyone else having issues with SIMS? When anyone tries to login it says, username/password incorrect.

Thanks
